We are currently looking for a Sous Chef (m/f/d) who, together with our head chef, will design great menus, continuously prepare them to a high standard, train, lead and encourage the team and also enjoy an after-work beer with us.

Your Tasks

  • Supporting the head chef in the planning and organization of kitchen operations
  • Monitoring and ensuring the high quality of the food
  • Developing and implementing new dishes and menus in collaboration with the head chef
  • Training and instructing the kitchen team
  • Ensuring compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations in accordance with HACCP standards
  • Monitoring stock levels and orders to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Actively participating in the preparation and presentation of meals
  • Deputizing for the head chef in his absence

Your Profile

  • Completed training as a chef or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably in an upscale gastronomy business
  • Creativity and passion for high-quality and innovative cuisine
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • High sense of responsibility and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to undergo further training
  • Knowledge of current food trends and techniques
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
