Hi, we are BRLO
We are currently looking for a Sous Chef (m/f/d) who, together with our head chef, will design great menus, continuously prepare them to a high standard, train, lead and encourage the team and also enjoy an after-work beer with us.
Your Tasks
- Supporting the head chef in the planning and organization of kitchen operations
- Monitoring and ensuring the high quality of the food
- Developing and implementing new dishes and menus in collaboration with the head chef
- Training and instructing the kitchen team
- Ensuring compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations in accordance with HACCP standards
- Monitoring stock levels and orders to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Actively participating in the preparation and presentation of meals
- Deputizing for the head chef in his absence
Your Profile
- Completed training as a chef or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably in an upscale gastronomy business
- Creativity and passion for high-quality and innovative cuisine
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High sense of responsibility and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to undergo further training
- Knowledge of current food trends and techniques
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
