Your Tasks

  • Supporting the Service Manager in the operational management of the service department

  • Responsibility for daily cash reconciliation, including opening and closing of the premises

  • Co-responsibility for ensuring smooth daily operations

  • Active involvement in service and direct guest interaction

  • Ensuring a professional, guest-oriented service approach

  • Implementation and compliance with hygiene, quality, and service standards (HACCP, etc.)

  • Preparation and coordination of staff schedules in cooperation with the Service Manager

  • Training, supervision, and motivation of service staff and temporary employees

  • Assisting in the planning and execution of events and special promotions

  • Acting as the main point of contact for guests regarding questions, complaints, or special requests

  • Interface communication with kitchen, bar, and other departments

  • Monitoring service-related inventory and material requirements and initiating appropriate actions

  • Participation in stocktaking and ordering processes

  • Assuming managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Service Manager

  • Contributing to staff training and team development

  • Supporting the implementation of sales strategies and upselling initiatives

Your Profile

  • Strong host mentality with a high level of service orientation

  • Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and excellent organizational skills

  • Assertiveness and leadership skills in daily team operations

  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

  • Resilience, flexibility, and willingness to work weekends and public holidays

  • Several years of hands-on experience in the hospitality service sector, ideally in a supervisory or deputy management role

  • Proven experience in team leadership and organizing operational workflows in daily business

  • Confident handling of guests, complaints, and quality assurance processes

  • Fluent German and English (business-level proficiency)
