Deputy Service Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Facility Manager (m/f/d) to join our team. With strong technical know-how, practical skills, and excellent organizational abilities, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our BRLO locations.

As Facility Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the functionality, maintenance, and value retention of our buildings, technical systems, and outdoor areas across our four BRLO locations. You will work closely with our existing Facility Team and take responsibility for both hands-on maintenance work and the planning and coordination of upcoming tasks and projects.

An important part of your role is also coordinating external service providers and contractors, as well as supporting topics related to safety technology and occupational health & safety.

• Carrying out and coordinating repairs, maintenance, renovation, and general upkeep across our four BRLO locations
• Creating, maintaining, and coordinating the annual maintenance plan
• Independently scheduling, prioritizing, and organizing upcoming maintenance and repair tasks
• Carrying out necessary repairs and hands-on maintenance work independently wherever possible
• Obtaining and reviewing quotes for maintenance, repairs, and other technical work
• Coordinating and managing external service providers and contractors
• Supporting the purchasing and procurement of materials, spare parts, and technical equipment
• Organizing and coordinating team members, freelancers, and employees from other departments supporting maintenance work
• Researching and sourcing equipment and replacement parts, as well as supporting smaller construction and renovation projects
• Supporting topics related to safety technology and occupational health & safety
• Sharing responsibility for workplace safety across our BRLO locations and participating in regular workplace safety meetings
• Conducting regular walkthroughs and inspections of buildings, facilities, technical systems, and outdoor areas
• Documenting and monitoring maintenance, repairs, and the technical condition of our facilities

• Completed vocational training in a skilled trade or technical profession, ideally as an electrician, plumber, locksmith, carpenter, or in a comparable field
• Strong hands-on skills and technical understanding
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Reliability, accountability, and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams and external partners
• Willingness to support different departments and work across our various locations
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Forklift certification and/or welding experience is an advantage
• Good command of both German and English
